” I’m assuming you’re trying to lose weight and under the impression that cutting carbs will make you lose weight. Carbs in and of themselves do not prevent fat loss, nor do they contribute to fat gain, it’s rather the over abundance of any, and all macros that do that. In order to lose fat, you need to eat in a caloric deficit, that’s it. Eat less than you burn every day and you will lose weight. You could literally lose weight eating nothing but twinkies all day, IF, you burned more twinkies than you ate. Your caloric intake is based upon your size, activity level, and goals. From there a certain amount goes to protein for muscles, fats for optimal hormone production and the remainder to carbs for energy.”
